Toilet glassOak, with mirror glass, 72 x 46.5 x 30.5 cm A blueprint of an identical design (RIBA, VOY.391.3) is inscribed ‘For A.H. Van Gruisen Esquire’. This suggests that the design may first have been produced for Voysey’s clients Albert and Frances Van Gruisen; their home in Oxton, Cheshire was designed and furnished 1902-05. Another example was made for a Miss Marjorie Herren of West Kirby.
